From the heart pictures!!!

I am so happy that I got the pleasure of taking Rose’s pictures this past weekend.  This little girl and my little girl (ok not so little girl anymore) Andrea have something in common.  They were both born with a hole in their heart.  Medical term VSD.  When Rose was born her grandmother called me to tell me about little Rose.  She knew what Andrea had been through and she wanted me to start praying for little Rose.  Of course I did but I also wanted Sally, Rose’s mom to know that she would make it through this.  So I took Andrea to meet Sally and little baby Rose about 2 weeks before her heart surgery.  Rose was 5 months old and weighed 7 1/2 pounds. It was a very tearful visit but I just wanted Sally to see how Andrea looked at age 16.  People always say that they know what you are going through when you are facing a battle but this time I really knew what Sally was feeling.  I tried to tell Sally how I felt that day and the days that followed after Andrea’s surgery.  What to expect and what not to expect too.  But most of all I wanted her to see Andrea and how that through something so bad we had a wonderful outcome.  I am so thankful everyday for my wonderful and beautiful daughter.  I can’t imagine my life without her.  She has brought me so much joy.  I know that Rose is going to bring that much joy to Sally and Matt.  Just look at this sweet little face.  You would never believe looking at her that she had a major surgery at such a young age.   So Sally just love her and enjoy her every single day they grow up so fast. 

Engagement

Well I am back to work.  I have taken off the last two months.  Of course I have been busy going to basketball games with Andrea and just enjoying doing things with her.  But it is wedding season and I am so glad to get back to it.  I had a great engagement session with Matthew and Catie this past Saturday.  The wind was blowing like crazy but Catie was so great and all I can say is thank goodness for hair spray!!!  Can’t wait for their wedding next month.

Family

Andrea and I have an incredible weekend.  She got to go to her first concert on Friday night.  Thanks Chelcee and Cynthia for taking her.  Next we traveled over to Cannon County and the Central Chargerettes won the game and now we are headed to State!!!  We spent the night with my niece Jennifer and her husband Jason.  Of course I had to get a quick photo session in with Kalli before we left this morning.  But before we went out for the session, Kalli prepared breakfast for us!!  We had ants on a log!  This proved to be very interesting.  She wanted me to take a picture of her wonderful dish! I think culinary school is in her future.  Thanks Jennifer, Jason and Kalli for letting us spend the night with you guys, we love you.

Well it seems like an eternity since I have blogged.  Sorry just too many things going on.  Let’s face it too many networking places.  I am trying to keep up my facebook page (please become a fan) and I am trying to keep up my website.   I have tried to twitter but that is just impossible to do.  So blogging has just fallen to the wayside.  But I am back and I wanted to post some pictures of my beautiful daughter Andrea.  She told me not to put these on facebook but she didn’t mention here!!!   Why is that girls think they look bad when they don’t!!!!  She informed me that she looked terrible in these shots but I don’t think she does.  I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world.  I am so proud of her and my boys too.  So hopefully she want discover these on here!
